It is Meg Cowley’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect from you or which you may provide to us, in the circumstances set out below. When you sign-up to receive free content, including eBooks, videos and offers, we collect:

We automatically collect certain information when you visit our Website – such as the type of browser and operating system you are using, and the domain name of your Internet service provider. We do not link this information with any Personal Data.

We may also collect data automatically through our use of cookies on the Website. Users may opt out of Google’s use of cookies by visiting the Google Advertising Opt-out Page. In addition, sers may opt out of Google Analytics by visiting the Google Analytics Opt-out Page.

We use the information collected to show you relevant retargeting advertisements. This Website and our services are aimed at adults, and we do not knowingly collect any Personal Data relating to children aged under 15 years old. If you are under the age of 15, please do not provide us with any of your Personal Data, including your email address.

  • express any concerns you have about third parties’ use of your Personal Data.

8. Service Providers

We may employ third-party companies and individuals due to the following reasons:

  • To facilitate our Service;
  • To provide the Service on our behalf;
  • To perform Service-related services; or
  • To assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.

These third parties may include social media advertising platforms such as Facebook and Google Adwords for the purpose of custom audience generation and the development of targeting criteria for other audiences. Please note that we have appropriate data privacy safeguards in place with third parties with whom we share Personal Data as described above and who are providing services or functions on our behalf.

For example, we may include “pixels” on our web pages, like the Facebook pixel, to help our partners provide you with relevant Epic Fantasy related advertising while you are browsing Facebook and/or its partner sites.

This data does not personally or directly identify you. This information may include the content you view, the date and time that you view this content, the links you click, or information associated with your IP address. We use the information collected to show you relevant retargeting advertisements. We may collect information about where you see the advertisements we serve you, and what advertisements you click on.

We want to inform our Service users that these third parties have access to your Personal Information. The reason is to perform the tasks assigned to them on our behalf. However, they are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose.

You can opt out of Facebook remarketing by visiting your Facebook settings as follows: Settings > Ads > Ad Settings. On the app, go to Setting & Privacy > Settings > Ad > Ad Preferences > Ad Settings. Then choose the Not Allowed options under each category to stop Facebook from using data from partners and tracking your activity on Facebook and their partner’s sites to target you with ads.


9. Change of purpose

We will only use your Personal Data for the purposes for which we collected it, unless we reasonably consider that we need to use it for another reason and that reason is compatible with the original purpose. If you wish to have an explanation as to how the processing for the new purpose is compatible with the original purpose, please contact us.

If we need to use your Personal Data for an unrelated purpose, we will notify you and we will explain the legal basis which allows us to do so.
